Terms of Service
These terms apply when you pay a merchant using the CMS PAY checkout (QR code, payment link or terminal) or use cmsxpay.com. By completing a payment you agree to them.
What CMS PAY does
CMS PAY is checkout software. It presents the merchant's invoice and connects you to licensed payment partners that process your card or digital-currency payment. The merchant you are paying is the seller of the goods or services and is responsible for them.
Payments
- The amount and currency are shown before you pay. Your card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
- Payment partners may ask for verification to prevent fraud. A payment may be declined or held for review.
- A payment is complete only when the checkout shows it as paid. An unpaid invoice expires after a short time and can be issued again.
Acceptable use
You must use your own payment method, or one you are authorised to use, and must not use the checkout for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds follow the Refund Policy. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank; most issues are resolved within a few days.
Liability
The checkout is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for delays caused by banks, card networks, blockchain networks or payment partners. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Questions: hello@cmsxpay.com.
